HERALD DESIGN LOUNGE 2026
Herald Design Forum has established itself as a knowledge platform that connects audiences with insights from leading designers around the world. Over the past 15 years, more than 100 internationally recognized designers and creators have participated as speakers, while over 10,000 attendees have explored the present and future of design through lectures and discussions.
Starting this year, the forum will evolve into HERALD DESIGN LOUNGE, expanding beyond its existing conference format to incorporate networking, exhibitions, and performances. Building on the forum's established expertise and community, the new format aims to provide a broader platform where speakers, brands, and participants can exchange ideas and engage with design from multiple perspectives.
Beyond Visuals
Today, design extends beyond visual expression.
It shapes emotions, creates experiences, and connects people with technology. As AI, data, and interactive technologies continue to advance, design is expected not only to apply new technologies but also to create meaningful, human-centered experiences.
Under the theme Beyond Visuals, Herald Design Lounge 2026 brings together leading practitioners from graphic design, architecture, AI, and related fields to explore how design shapes emotion, experience, and the relationship between people and technology. Internationally renowned graphic designer Stefan Sagmeister, together with speakers from Korea, will share their work and practice, offering insights into the current landscape and future direction of design.
